At Jabbin’ for Jesus, we believe boxing is more than just a sport. It is a tool for transformation. It’s not just about what happens in the ring but about the community that is built outside of it.
Thomas’ journey is just one example of the impact this brotherhood has on every athlete who walks through our doors.

He first heard about the program from his mom. Drawn to the idea of boxing, he decided to give it a try. However, after just his first session, an intense workout led by a teammate, he nearly walked away.
“I told myself I was never coming back,” Thomas admits. “But I did. Every day.”
What kept him coming back wasn’t just the training. It was the people.
“I don’t have a lot of friends at school,” he shared. “But coming here, I found guys who shared my passion. We’re all different, but now they’re some of my best friends.”
This isn’t just Thomas’ story. It is the story of so many young men who step into Jabbin’ for Jesus looking for something more than a workout. They find discipline, confidence, and a family that pushes them to be their best. More than that, they find a community of strong Christian men who lead by example. They hear daily from the coaches and mentors who encourage them not only in the ring but in their faith, their character, and their everyday lives.
Through mentorship and faith-filled leadership, young men at Jabbin’ for Jesus are learning what it means to fight the right battles, to stand firm in faith, to grow in self-control, and to rely on God’s strength.
“Life for all is a spiritual battle each and every single day,” observed Joe Smith, Executive
Director of Transform Ministries. “Each of us will be equipped to stand, armor up in preparation, and win using tools given by Jesus that are meant for victory, or we’ll fight, box the air, and struggle in this world.”
Thomas recalls a lesson that stuck with him:
“Coach Joe and Coach Kevin talked about how boxing isn’t a weapon—it’s a sport meant to build people up. A week later, I was in a situation where someone tried to start a fight with me. I was mad, but I walked away. I remembered what they said.”
“Before boxing, I never gave 100% to anything in my life. Now, I know if I can do this, I can put my all into anything I try.”
Because of your generosity, young men like Thomas find more than a gym—they find a family, a brotherhood, and a foundation in Christ.
Right now, more young men would be able to participate in Jabbin’ for Jesus with your support
and financial investment. Would you consider giving today to help more young men find their place at Jabbin’ for Jesus?
Thank you in advance! Jesus said that when we serve others, we have served Him. He sees your generosity and the difference you make! Thank you!
